Characterization: Small species measuring about 12cm in length. Like the Golden-crowned Warbler (Basileuterus culicivorus), its lower side is whitish gray and it has a yellowish part between its belly and legs. 

Distribution: Northern Paraguay and Brazil (south and west of Minas Gerais, south of Goiás, the Federal District, Mato Grosso, and part of the interior of São Paulo).

Habitat: Inside the forest, at a medium height, and as the Golden-crowned Warbler, often jumping among the branches.

Habits: A diurnal species, this bird lives in pairs or in small flocks, often seen in mixed bird flocks in the understory.

Diet: Carnivorous, it feed on very small arthropods and caterpillars.

Breeding: It lays 3 eggs in a nest built on the ground, among dry leaves and live plants.

In the UFRA area: This White-bellied Warbler had an average spatial distribution in the São Francisco Sugarmill farms. It was spotted in the wetlands with riparian forests, in mixed forests in regeneration, and in native forests. This species is considered rare within the studied areas, as it was only seen 3 times.
