





Quality always oriented all activities in Balbo Group companies. The Total Quality Program officially begun in 1992, when the workers in the Industrial Division of São Francisco Mill were first trained. The quality culture implanted then allowed that, in December, 1995, the Mission and Values from Balbo Group were elaborated with the participation of all workers.
The ISO 9002 certification process of São Francisco Mill Industrial Divison started in 1996, and the productive processes of sugar, alcohol, yeast and fusel oil received such certificate in August, 1998, after audit performed by BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International). Afterwards, such certification was updated according to ISO 9001:2000 rules.
All the production is submitted to international product safety systems, like the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), which aims to avoid contamination risks, Housekeeping, for cleaningness and organization, and the HACCP, that analyses hazards and critical control points. Our quality management system was audited and approved by AIB International in 2008.
